The internet is strange.  Sometimes it provides vast and reliable information pertaining to the specific inquiry we might have:  How much did house at Xyz Drive sell for?  How many hours of sunlight are there today?  What is the purpose of life, and who am I?  Other times internet usage results in wasted time, and more confusion about said inquiry.  The internet is vast.  You cannot access all information on the internet in one life time even if every hour is spent on the internet.  Surely, mavens exist.  In fact every one is a maven of their own experience, this applies to the internet as well.  But when we step out of our expertise, no matter what, there are always people of those other expertises that can simply do the job better.  

Your time is your most valuable asset.  Use it wisely.

In many instances, I find it is much better to free from the keyboard, to go personally to a fountain of information and to converse.  Dialog in the first person is more efficient than google searches.
